Specialized in functional neurosurgery for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor, and has participated in advanced research to improve intraoperative imaging techniques during DBS.

Professor Dr. François Alesch is considered one of the pioneers of functional neurosurgery worldwide, with more than three decades of experience in treating movement disorders through deep brain stimulation.

Professor Dr. Ehab Shiban is considered one of the leading neurosurgeons in Germany. He serves as the Head of the Neurosurgery Department at Lausitz – Carl Thiem University Hospital, with experience exceeding six thousand surgical procedures and more than one hundred sixty scientific publications.
